On September 2nd, 2022 Swim for Life CNMI setup a life jacket loaner station at Sugar Dock for the community to use while swimming in the area.
Historically, there have been countless drownings at Sugar Dock, and our program is working to eliminate these tragic events. Our plan is to make safety and rescue equipment available to the community and providing water safety education. The life jacket loaner station is just a small step in that direction. Hopefully in the future we will be able to see a lifeguard on duty.

Special thanks to Keith Ada, Eric Esteves, and the Bantalan Boys for adopting our life jacket loaner station. They have volunteered to set up and store the life jacket rack daily to ensure that they are not stolen.
