Summer Swim Camp and the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson in Saipan

Last week we kicked off our ‘Swim Into Summer’ swim camp with 100 students registered. 10 Water Safety Instructors and 18 assistant coaches provided students with American Red Cross Learn to Swim lessons. The summer swim camp will run for the rest of this week and commence on Friday June 25, 2021. We’re hopeful that students who attended the full 2 weeks will pass the leveled skills assessment for their respective classes.

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson Comes to Saipan

On June 17th, 2021 Swim for Life CNMI participated in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson (www.wlsl.org). The event was created by the World Waterpark Association with the intention of spreading awareness that swimming lessons save lives. Through our partners, we were invited to participate in the event to help spread the word. We look forward to next years event with the goal of hosting more than 100 participants.
